Bratwurst's World Cup Tour: Munich

Munich_stadium_1

One thing's for sure - the Germans certainly know how to organise a decent World Cup. Here in Munich the facilities are exceptional from the big fan areas in the city's parks right through to the transport, which surprise, surprise, always runs on time.

Best of all though are the stadiums. The newly created Munich stadium is astonishing. It has this inflatable plastic jacket which from a distant makes it look either like the Michelin Man or a giant doughnut.

It looks especially amazing at night when it is illuminated white, red or blue depending on who is playing.
