Italian Match Fixing: Reggina and Arezzo both docked points
The slightly less prestigious histories of the clubs involved means that it no longer dominates the headlines, but the Italian match fixing scandal rumbles on. Serie A side Reggina have had 15-points deducted and have been fined £68,000. Club president Pasquale Fotihas been banned for two-and-a-half years and fined £20,000.
Arezzo, a Serie B club, have been docked nine points. Prosecutors had called for both teams to be relegated. Meanwhile, prosecutors will today consider Juventus's second appeal against their 17-point deduction. [Via BBC]
