Selected pubs to screen World Cup matches in Sky HDTV

A little birdy tells us that  a number of select pubs up and down the country (the pubs in question are yet to be confirmed) will be equipped by Sky to screen World Cup games in glorious, pin-sharp High-Def TV. Shhh, don't tell anyone else though. If you haven't yet ordered an HD system through Sky or Telewest, you won't get it installed in time for Germany 06, so an HD-ready pub may be your best bet.

Watch this space and also keep an eye on HDTV UK, the UK's best High-Def-dedicated blog.
